IBM Club Photo Club arranged a social photo session at Aker Brygge. Nice weather which gave a lot of possibilities to shoot.

The corridor at work

Every day I walk this subterranean corridor at my way home from work - and to work as well of course. I thought it would be interesting to take a picture of it. I did that and first empty with no people in it because I had a sense of imagination that it would be a great picture.
Back home loading my photos to my Mac, it did not show up to be at all as interesting as I believed it would.
So I went back with my daughter and took a little series of new pictures which you can see the result of below. I usually do not use Photoshop and struggled a bit with layers... anyway I feel the result became quite cool.
Uneven number I have heard is important. Why?

  

Visit at Hovedøya

 The forest at Hovedøya is a bit tricky to catch as it is always moving. You can certainly see from the below pictures it is constantly moving.
Well that´s not quite true....
I went to the island with a friend of mine (we are in the same photo club) to see if there were some interesting landscape to catch.
We became a bit dissatisfied after some hours of work and I decided to "make" my own.
Enjoy the surrealistic woods below and the HDR of the Cistercian Monastery further below.

Rain and dark clouds.

Rainy weather is sometimes more exiting to do photography in than in dawn and dusk of sunshine, I think. This picture was taken in the middle of July near a city named Åndalsnes in Norway. I like the sunshine at the back of the mountains while they are pretty dark in the front.

Summer fly with Ice cube

An early morning fly who finally got it´s sugar cube. This shot was taken August 9th. The fly was really cooperative until it got fueled up.
